Application field
Neodymium oxide is mainly used as a colorant for glass and ceramics, as a raw material for manufacturing neodymium metal and as a raw material for ferromagnetic ndfeb; the addition of 1.5% ~ 2.5% nanometer neodymium oxide to magnesium alloy or aluminum alloy can improve the high temperature performance, air tightness and corrosion resistance of the alloy and is widely used as aerospace materials.
