Property: colorless rhombic system is easy to moisture. Solid. The density of 4.379 g/cm3. Melting point is 292 ℃. Sublimation at 319℃. Soluble in water and hydrofluoric acid. Insoluble in benzene, chlorobenzene, and heptane. Hydrolysis is slow in water. It is a mild fluoridation agent, which is greatly increased when used with chlorine, bromine or antimony pentachloride. Antimony trioxide is dissolved in excess anhydrous hydrofluoric acid or hydrofluoric acid at a concentration above 55%, and then evaporated until dried. Used to prepare antimony pentafluoride, complex metal fluoride, etc..
